SSQA — skid steer quick attach
SSQA (also called SSL, SSO, or universal skid-steer quick tach) is the common aftermarket plate. If the listing does not say which plate it uses, do not guess.
What it is
A rectangular receiver on the loader arms. The attachment has a matching plate: top lip, lower lock pins. Industry references for the universal pattern include ISO 24410 and SAE J2513. We are not publishing a machine-by-machine database on this page.
What it is not
- John Deere hook-and-pin — a different loader interface. A Deere hook-and-pin frame will not lock into SSQA, and an SSQA frame will not hang on Deere hooks.
- Euro / global — common on compact-tractor loaders. Different geometry.
- Mini excavator pin-on — pins and ears, not a skid-steer plate.
- Clamp-on forks — they hang on a bucket lip. That is a different product class from a framed SSQA fork.
Before you order
- Look at the plate on your loader, not the paint on the hood.
- If you run a compact tractor, check for Euro / global before you buy an SSQA frame.
- If you run a John Deere loader with hooks and a lower pin, you need a Deere-pattern attachment or an adapter. We do not sell adapters.
- Weight still matters. An SSQA fit that puts you over ROC is still a bad buy. Use the ROC calculator.
The Titan pallet forks on our comparison page are listed as universal skid-steer quick tach / SSQA. ES Quick Attach is listed the same way on the merchant page. Verify the coupler line on the live product page — we fetched those listings on 18 Aug 2026.
